Compassionate and dedicated, Sophie has extensive experience in resolving disputes, in and out of court. She practices family law, wills & estates, personal injury and civil litigation. Sophie provides empathetic and practical solutions for cohabitation and marriage agreements, separation and divorce, spousal and child support, custody and guardianship, property division, and parenting time. Sophie understands the emotional and personal challenges that accompany family issues and guides her clients with sensitivity and care. 

Sophie has appeared in the Provincial and Supreme Court of BC. She has negotiated complex out-of-court settlements and represented clients in mediation. Sophie prefers a collaborative approach to family law disputes aiming to obtain the best outcome for clients through creative problem-solving and personalized solutions.

Sophie graduated law in Australia, then worked at a Brisbane boutique family, criminal, and immigration firm. She later joined one of Australia’s top international law firms before returning to Canada. While completing her Canadian recertification, she joined a national tax firm and a full-service downtown Vancouver firm before articling with Carraig.

 

Outside of her law practice, Sophie skis, reads, and spends quality time with family and friends.
