Rita advises clients in the area of Family Law with a focus on high net worth divorces and child protection. Born and raised in China, Rita obtained her Chinese Legal Professional Qualification Certificate in 2019. She then graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School with a Master's Degree in Common Law in 2021 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2022. Rita relocated to BC in 2023, working for one of Vancouver's premier family law litigation boutiques before joining Carraig Law Group. Rita has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court. Rita's cross-cultural background serves as a unique asset enriching her understanding of diverse cultural nuances and legal needs with sensitivity and insight. She takes family law and child protection legal aid cases, and believes that clients from all walks of life should be understood and equipped with high-quality and cost-effective legal support. Outside the office, Rita enjoys cooking, exploring new recipes, and preparing delicious meals for her family and friends. She is fluent in English and Mandarin.
