Taylor Stone

Taylor has primarily practiced Family Law litigation since completing his articles, with a focus on high-net-worth divorce and separation. Before joining Carraig Law Group, Taylor practiced at one of Vancouver's premier family law litigation boutiques. Before starting his career, Taylor received his law degree from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia. Taylor prides himself on finding his clients affordable legal advice, minimizing stress where possible. Taylor will not hesitate to proceed to court if required, but he firmly believes that negotiation and settlement are most often in his client's best interests, especially when there are children involved. Family law matters are emotional enough without overly litigious counsel, and a focus on resolution saves Taylor's clients time, money, and stress. Taylor has represented clients in the Supreme Court of British Columbia and the Provincial Court of British Columbia. Outside of the office, Taylor volunteers as the Law and Policy Liaison for the Young Lawyers section of the Canadian Bar Association, British Columbia. He also enjoys gardening, taking his parents' dogs on short trips, finding the best plate of nachos in Vancouver, and he has recently taken an interest in carnivorous plants.
