Shane Ali practices Family Law, Refugee Protection, Child Protection, Judicial Review, Criminal Law, and Insurance Defence. Shane is an experienced trial lawyer having appeared before all levels of court in BC. He is a problem solver who guides clients through their issues with skill and empathy. Shane was born and raised in Vancouver, read political science at Simon Fraser University before moving to England to read law at Southampton University. Whilst studying abroad, he traveled extensively throughout Europe. He was called to the BC bar in 2014 and worked for a downtown litigation boutique firm before joining Carraig Law Group as a partner in 2021. Outside of work, Shane is interested in travelling, cycling, and tennis.
